Job Summary
The Sales Associate is responsible for greeting and assisting customers, understanding and meeting customer needs, and engaging in suggestive selling. Associates must promote store events, resolve customer concerns, and communicate effectively with management regarding stock and customer feedback. Essential functions include operating the cash register, moving merchandise, and remaining in a stationary position for significant time. Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends is required.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Comfortable with or willing to learn technology
- Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
- Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally
- Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training
