Job Summary
The Sales Associate is responsible for ensuring hospitality for all store guests through timely transactions and maintaining store cleanliness according to Yesway standards. Key duties include resolving customer complaints, proper placement and stocking of merchandise, processing sales transactions, preparing cooked foods as directed by management, and maintaining store equipment. The role requires the ability to handle physical demands such as moving merchandise up to 60 lbs and standing for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to move merchandise/equipment weighing up to a maximum of 60 lbs.
- Ability to stand on concrete floors for a standard 8 hour shift.
- Ability to receive and stock merchandise at various heights.
Desired Qualifications
- Successful completion of required certification testing upon employment.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
