Job Summary
Part-Time Sales Associate in a retail environment responsible for generating sales and building customer relationships, maintaining store visuals and housekeeping, processing markdowns and transfers, operating the POS and email systems, and pursuing client development beyond the initial sale. The role emphasizes understanding product features/benefits, identifying customer needs, meeting sales/productivity goals, safeguarding store inventory, and adhering to store policies. Strong communication, reliability, adaptability, and the ability to handle physical tasks (lifting up to 35 pounds) are required.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail sales experience preferred
- Willingness to initiate contact with customers and identify shopping needs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills to operate POS system, Word, Excel & email
- Ability to lift/move objects up to 35 pounds and use ladders/stairs
