Job Summary
Join Turner’s Outdoorsman as a Sales Associate in a retail environment focused on firearms and sporting goods. Responsible for greeting customers, executing firearms paperwork within legal parameters, creating customer orders, delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, ensuring firearm safety, assisting with store merchandising, loading/unloading trucks, receiving stock, participating in promotions and events, and training as needed. Requires high school diploma or GED, English fluency, retail or sales experience preferred, knowledge of Hunting/Fishing/Shooting sports preferred, and the ability to work in a firearms environment and lift up to 50 pounds. Occasional travel and varied hours with OT may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED required
- Fluent in English
- Prior retail or sales experience and cash handling preferred
- Knowledge about Hunting, Fishing, or Shooting sports is preferred
- Legally eligible to work in a firearms environment
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to obtain a Certificate of Eligibility
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
