Job Summary
Part-time Sales Associate responsible for greeting customers, delivering prompt assistance, using product knowledge to meet customer needs, engaging in suggestive selling, promoting store events and promotions, resolving customer issues to support exchanges when possible, and communicating merchandise or service needs to management. Requires strong customer service and sales skills, attention to detail in stocking and merchandising, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including day/evening/weekends. Proficiency with cash register operations and basic information gathering is expected to support store goals and a positive in-store experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (cash registers, handheld and mobile devices)
- Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
- Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues professionally
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge via on-the-job training
