Job Summary
Sales Associate for Trauma/Orthopaedics in Biloxi/Gulfport MS will provide clinical and customer support in hospitals, assist surgeons in the operating room, and drive sales objectives across a geographic territory. Responsibilities include supporting procedures, ensuring proper equipment availability, troubleshooting, hospital billing support, preparing sales reports, maintaining equipment, and cultivating surgeon/account relationships. The role requires travel, lab/OR environment capability, and strong communication, negotiation, and product-knowledge skills to differentiate DePuy Synthes solutions in orthopaedics trauma.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) + minimum of 2 years of professional and/or related experience OR Minimum of 4 years of professional and/or related experience OR Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty
- The ability to work in a lab/operating room environment
- A valid driver's license issued in the United States
- The ability to travel which may include weekend and/or overnight travel
- Residence in or willingness to relocate to the posted territory
- Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem solving, and business acumen skills required
- A qualified candidate will be efficient, organized, self-motivated, positive and pro-active
- Strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols and solutions preferred
