Job Summary
Optical sales role focused on delivering a world-class Total Patient Experience while assisting patients with glasses and contacts, selecting frames, and taking measurements (bridge, eye size, temple length, seg heights, pupil distance, pantoscopic tilt). Requires ability to operate auto- and manual-lensometers, educate patients on lenses and coatings, dispense orders, and provide medical-support aligned with prescriptions from Optometrists/Ophthalmologists. Prior medical-office experience and strong customer interaction skills are favored; OSHA/eye-care safety awareness and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications are useful. Located primarily in an office/clinical setting with possible travel; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Favorable result on background check as required by state
- Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
- ABO and NCLE certifications preferred but not required
