Job Summary
Optical Technician/Sales Associate delivering a Total Patient Experience by combining medical support with retail sales. Dispense and fit glasses, align prescriptions from Optometrists/Ophthalmologists, educate on lenses and coatings, operate auto-lensometer and lensometer, and collect precise measurements to match patient needs with frames.
Required Qualifications
- Previous medical office experience preferred
- previous ophthalmic experience strongly preferred
- Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Favorable result on background check as required by state
- Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
- HS diploma or GED required
- ABO and NCLE certifications preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
