Sales Associate- Training Provided!

An Optical Technician/ Sales Associate will dispense and fit glasses and contacts, working from prescriptions written by Optometrists and Ophthalmologists, and will connect patient needs to available goods and services. Responsibilities include assisting patients in selecting frames by style and color, coordinating frames with facial and eye measurements and prescriptions, operating the auto-lensometer and manual lensometer, educating and recommending lenses, coatings, and frames, collecting measurements (bridge, eye size, temple length, seg heights, vertex distance, pupillary distance, pantoscopic tilt), dispensing orders, and repairing/adjusting frames. The role emphasizes delivering the Total Patient Experience to build relationships and provide medical support, with prior customer/patient-facing experience preferred and ABO/NCLE certifications preferred but not required. Education: high school diploma or GED required. Location: Ottawa, Kansas, United States; travel to other locations may be required.
