Job Summary
Sales Associate at Sur La Table drives customer experiences in-store by engaging with customers, sharing product knowledge, and supporting daily operations to help meet sales goals. Responsibilities include assisting customers, identifying needs, recommending relevant products, processing transactions with the POS system, opening/closing procedures, inventory tasks (MOS, RARs), maintaining visual merchandising standards, and collaborating with team to deliver a high-performing, guest-obsessed store culture. Key skills include communicating effectively, problem-solving, driving add-on sales, and staying current on products and training. Availability includes a flexible part-time schedule (12–16 hours/week) including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be 18+ with preferred 1 year retail experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management systems is also desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of employment.
- 1 year of retail sales experience preferred.
