Job Summary
Part-time Sales Associate at Five Below focused on delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, understanding and meeting customer needs with product knowledge, informing customers about store events and promotions, resolving customer concerns and turning returns into exchanges when possible, communicating with management about merchandise restocking and customer feedback, and collaborating with the team to meet store objectives. Must be at least 16 years old, able to work a flexible schedule, comfortable with technology (cash registers, handheld devices), have strong communication skills, and apply basic information-gathering and on-the-job training to perform duties. Essential duties include operating the cash register, stocking and moving merchandise, stocking room and sales floor duties, and maintaining a high-energy, customer-focused store environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices)
- Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
- Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally
- Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on- the-job training
