Job Summary
Provide direct sales support and customer assistance at the Sig Experience Center, handling product inquiries, order status, and account issues while resolving conflicts. Maintain correspondence on sales matters and deliver technical assistance on firearms and products to create win/win scenarios. Upsell merchandise, accessories, and Academy training services while adhering to ATF regulations and maintaining a clean, professional atmosphere. Perform opening and closing duties, manage file cabinets, and ensure open communication between management and range staff. Work full 8-hour shifts on your feet, lifting up to 25 pounds, and wear required PPE.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- 1+ years of previous sales and merchandising experience within a firearms retail environment
- Organization and extreme attention to detail
- In-depth knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Proficiency in firearms knowledge and handling
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong communication
- Comfortable with handling, assembling, and shooting a wide assortment of firearms
- Ability to adapt to change
- Capable of completing tasks with minimal supervision
- Capable of presenting a positive, professional image of the company to a wide variety of contacts
- Able to work both in a team environment and independently, taking direction and guidance from multiple staff members and supervisors
- Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to be on feet for full 8-hour shift
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required
- Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates
