Job Summary
Part-time Sales Associate at Rockler Woodworking: provide customer service, explain and demonstrate woodworking supplies, complete retail sales at the POS, and maintain an appealing store environment. Emphasize the “Total solution” by suggesting related products/services, handle refunds per procedures, and assist with merchandising and loading duties as needed. Requires a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of woodworking/hand tools, strong service orientation, teamwork, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Location: Seattle, WA. Pay is hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of high school graduate or GED
- Knowledge of woodworking and hand tools required
- Previous retail sales experience desirable
- Ability to understand customer requests and respond appropriately
- Excellent team player and service orientation
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Attendance is essential
