Part-time Sales Associate in San Diego for Rockler Woodworking. Responsibilities include greeting customers, explaining, demonstrating, and selling woodworking supplies and tools; guiding customers toward the “Total solution” by suggesting related products and services; maintaining neat, stocked displays; handling refunds and required documentation; referring customers to other sources to build goodwill; may assist with unloading trucks, pricing, and other duties; attendance is essential; must provide excellent service, be a team player, and be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Skills emphasized include customer service, retail sales, product knowledge in woodworking/hand tools, and ability to engage customers effectively.
