Job Summary
Greet customers, assist in selecting firearms and accessories, and process sales transactions, special orders, transfers, exchanges, and returns. Maintain a clean, organized sales floor while answering product questions and providing knowledgeable guidance. Assist customers on the range, manage target systems, monitor firearm handling practices, address safety concerns, and complete compliance documentation. Work evening and night shifts with weekend availability, supporting both retail and range operations.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service, communication, and active listening skills
- Strong sales ability and confidence recommending products to customers
- Working knowledge of firearms, firearm safety, and related merchandise
- Ability to remain calm, alert, and safety-focused in dynamic environments
- Ability to operate or quickly learn point-of-sale and operational systems
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be legally eligible to possess and purchase firearms
- Must have the ability to pass a background check
- Weekend availability required
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail, customer service, or firearms-related experience
- Previous range safety or firearms handling experience
