Job Summary
The Sales Associate will deliver outstanding customer service by selling tires and automotive services, road hazard protection, and recommended services while building long-term customer loyalty. Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering phones, scheduling appointments, inspecting vehicles as needed, creating Repair Order Requests, explaining warranties and pricing, obtaining customer approval before service, reviewing repairs with customers, and processing payments. The role operates in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment with a focus on driving sales and store profitability, maintaining a clean, well-merchandised store, and supporting training and development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or comparable vocational training
- Knowledge of computerized sales and marketing software
- Knowledge of auto/truck tire, lubrication and maintenance issues
- Experience using Mitchell Repair, Activant, All-Data and vehicle service manuals to research and determine the resolution of malfunctions
- 2+ years experience in a retail environment, preferably auto/truck tire, lubrication and maintenance
- Retail customer service and customer relations experience
