Job Summary
Greet customers, deliver solution-focused service, and assist in selecting products that meet pets' needs. Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately while maintaining an organized, visually appealing sales floor. Support store sales goals, stock shelves, replenish merchandise, and perform merchandising and promotional set-ups. Ensure the health, safety, and proper care of all animals in accordance with company policies. Maintain store cleanliness and presentation standards through daily operational routines. Work in a fast-paced retail environment requiring frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays to support Pet Care Center operating hours.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to safely lift and move merchandise, supplies, or animals weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in proximity to animals, including exposure to animal dander, odors, noises, and cleaning chemicals
- Flexible availability to support Pet Care Center operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
