Job Summary
As a Sales Associate at Petco in Homewood, IL, you will greet customers, help pet parents select products and services to meet their pets’ needs, and provide accurate pet-care information. You’ll process sales, returns, and exchanges, stock shelves, maintain a clean and welcoming store environment, assist with inventory and promotional setups, and support teammates through collaboration. You’ll engage customers on the sales floor, deliver friendly, solution-focused service, and uphold store policies and safety standards. The role requires frequent standing, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You’ll work in a Pet Care Center retail environment with exposure to animals and cleaning chemicals, and you’ll be part of a team dedicated to delivering a positive experience for pets and people.
Required Qualifications
