Job Summary
As a Sales Associate at Petco, you’ll help pet parents find the right products and solutions for their pets while creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment. You’ll greet customers, deliver friendly and solution-focused service, educate customers on products, process sales, returns, and exchanges, stock shelves, maintain store cleanliness and visual appeal, support inventory accuracy, and collaborate with teammates to meet store goals. The role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, teamwork, basic math, cash handling, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting with physical duties (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds). Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
