Job Summary
As a Sales Associate at Petco, you will help customers find products and solutions for their pets, share accurate product and pet care information, process sales, returns, and exchanges, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, welcoming store environment. You will educate customers on products, support store goals, collaborate with teammates, and provide friendly, solution-focused service while engaging with customers on the sales floor. The role requires strong communication, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail setting, basic math skills for cash handling, reliability, and the willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; you will work in a Pet Care Center and may be exposed to animals and related odors and cleaning chemicals. This position is part-time with a starting rate of $16.90 per hour and a pay range of $16.00-$22.00 per hour, with actual rates determined by location, experience, and applicable regulations.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Comfort handling cash and transactions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
