Job Summary
As a Sales Associate at Petco in Burlington, MA, you will greet customers, help pet parents find the right products and solutions for their pets, share accurate product and pet care information, and create a welcoming, safe shopping environment. You will process sales, returns, and exchanges, stock shelves, support inventory integrity, assist with store merchandising and promotional setups, and collaborate with teammates to deliver consistent, friendly, needs-focused service. You’ll work on the sales floor assisting customers, educating them on products and services, and upholding store standards, while ensuring a positive shopping experience for pets and people. The role requires active engagement on the sales floor, frequent standing and walking, and may involve handling animals and exposure to related odors and cleaning chemicals. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
