Sales Associate

As a Sales Associate at Petco, you will greet customers, help pet parents select products and solutions for their pets, and share accurate product and pet care information to help customers make informed choices. You’ll contribute to a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for pets, customers, and teammates, assist with inventory replenishment and merchandising, process sales, returns, and exchanges, and support store operations and promotional setups. The role emphasizes customer experience, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced retail setting, with an emphasis on pet care and safety. This position requires the ability to stand and move on the sales floor, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Essential functions include providing courteous service, educating customers on products and promotions, maintaining store appearance, and supporting daily operational routines, all within Petco policies and safety standards.
