Sales Associate

As a Sales Associate at Petco, you’ll be at the heart of the Pet Care Center experience, helping pet parents find the right products and solutions while creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment. You’ll deliver consistent, courteous, and knowledgeable service, educate customers on products, assist with sales and promotions, process sales, returns, and exchanges, stock shelves, maintain store cleanliness and organization, and support teamwork and store operations. The role requires strong communication, basic math for cash handling, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail setting. Experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required, and a passion for animals and pet care is valued. The position is part-time with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and involves working in proximity to animals and handling merchandise up to 50 pounds.
