Sales Associate

As a Sales Associate at Petco, you’ll be at the heart of the Pet Care Center experience—helping pet parents find the right products and solutions for their pets while creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment. You’ll greet customers, deliver friendly and solution-focused service, educate customers on products, assist with inventory and merchandising, process sales, returns, and exchanges, and support store operations. You’ll collaborate with teammates to ensure a clean, stocked, and well-presented sales floor, uphold safety standards, and contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture. You’ll engage customers on pet care needs, assist with product recommendations, and handle daily tasks like stocking, cashiering, and assisting with promotional setups. The role requires comfortable handling of cash, basic math skills, the ability to stand and move on the sales floor, and the potential to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced retail environment. Starting rate: $14.00 per hour.
