Job Summary
As a Sales Associate at Petco in Cedar Rapids, IA, you’ll help customers find the right products and solutions for their pets, share accurate pet care information, keep a clean and welcoming store, and work with teammates to meet store goals. You’ll engage customers with friendly, solution-focused service, assist with product recommendations, process sales and returns, stock shelves, support merchandising and promotional set-ups, and uphold store safety and policies. The role emphasizes customer experience, teamwork, multi-tasking in a fast-paced retail environment, basic math for cash handling, and the ability to handle items up to 50 pounds while working near animals. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Starting rate is $14.00 per hour.
