Job Summary
Greet customers, assist with product selection, and answer questions to ensure pets receive the right food and accessories. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, clean pet enclosures, support fish systems, and restock merchandise while complying with brand standards. Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and drive sales, service, and customer experience initiatives. Acknowledge and thank each customer in a friendly manner. Complete tasks as assigned by store management. Must be at least 16 years of age and able to lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly. Flexible schedule available including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Hiring Age – 18 Years of age
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule which may include morning, evenings, weekends and/or holidays according to business needs
- Heavy lifting up to 55lbs required several times throughout a shift
- Active listening required when communicating / speaking with customers and employees
- Active observation required when merchandising the store
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred retail or customer service experience
- Enjoy working with and around animals
