Job Summary
Conduct daily store operations under supervision by selling, stocking, pricing merchandise, and processing customer transactions via point-of-sale systems. Straighten sales floors, accept and sort donations, perform light housekeeping, and create attractive displays to maximize floor space. Provide high-level customer service internally and externally while collaborating with staff and volunteers to meet store objectives. Complete administrative duties and attend mandatory meetings and trainings on a flexible schedule including weekdays and weekends. Requires ability to operate POS systems, handle cash, and perform continuous physical movements for moving donated items.

- Ability to operate point of sale system and accurately handle cash and merchandise

- Comfortable with technology both general computer and point of sale systems
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays and weekends
- Position requires periods of continuous standing, reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, side-to-side and back-and-forth movements, and other physical movements that are necessary to sort and move bags/boxes of donated clothing and/or household and electronic merchandise, and then placing them in bins and other containers to be stored or put out on the store floor
