Job Summary
Sales Associate responsibilities include meeting daily/weekly/monthly sales goals, consulting with customers in a professional, upbeat manner, educating customers on the Golden Rules of Tanning and ensuring all company and legal requirements are met, maintaining a clean and organized salon, cash handling and opening/closing the business, and completing daily administrative paperwork with goal tracking. The ideal candidate is outgoing, energetic, and motivated to achieve sales goals in a commission-driven environment; requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to stand for extended periods, and reliable transportation. Training is provided; flexible schedule with evenings/weekends, benefits include discounts on skincare products, free tanning services, and a generous commission program.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience in retail/customer service environment
- Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time, for 7+hours per day
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
- Reliable transportation, flexible availability including nights and weekends
