Job Summary
Greet, acknowledge, and assist every customer and co-worker while walking the showroom floor for extended periods. Accurately complete sales transactions, prepare tickets, and help clients select merchandise based on their specifications. Promote products, explain features and care instructions, and follow up on orders via email and phone. Perform house calls to design catalogs for home décor and communicate service issues to management. Maintain a friendly environment by staying educated on new products, policies, and advertisements while adhering to safety procedures and lifting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift merchandise of 10lbs
- Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to listen and respond to customer's needs
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Knowledge of employment and safety procedures
