Job Summary
Sales Associate at Palm Beach Tan drives sales by meeting daily/weekly/monthly goals, consults with customers in an upbeat, professional manner, educates clients on the Golden Rules of Tanning and ensures compliance with company and legal requirements. The role includes maintaining a clean and organized salon, handling cash, opening/closing the store, handling daily administrative paperwork, and tracking goals. The ideal candidate is outgoing, energetic, motivated to achieve sales targets, thrives in a commission-driven environment, and provides exceptional customer service while promoting tanning services and skincare product discounts. Flexibility in schedule (including nights and weekends) and the ability to stand for long periods while lifting up to 25 pounds are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience in retail/customer service environment
- Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time, for 7+hours per day
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
- Reliable transportation, flexible availability including nights and weekends
