Job Summary
Engage customers by approaching and assisting multiple shoppers to provide personal service and drive sales opportunities. Maintain store standards through visual merchandising, POS system usage, and active participation in team initiatives like the Outdoor Discovery School. Advocate for customers by listening to their needs and solving problems efficiently while adhering to all health and safety policies. Work collaboratively in a part-time, temporary capacity with flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support store operations and foster a positive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Required to stand, walk during shift
- Required to talk or hear, both in person and by headset
- Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps
- Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch
- Occasionally required to lift 1 to 20 pounds
- Occasionally move and lift objects up to 40 pounds (utilizing a team lift as needed)
- Passion for providing world-class customer service
- Friendly and outgoing communication style
- Proficiency with computer systems and the ability to learn new technologies
