Job Summary

Greet guests with professionalism, learn customer needs, and demonstrate furniture features including how products function and fit into their home. Guide customers through product options and value tiers to help them make confident decisions, then process sales orders accurately, including financing and related paperwork. Maintain showroom displays to ensure floor models are clean, organized, and presentation-ready while setting and working toward personal and team sales goals. Coach and support team members in delivering excellent customer service and perform additional duties as assigned to support the showroom and the team.

  • Communication skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents; ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers /employees, ability to effectively present information to top management, middle management, or employees. Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Ability to write clearly and informatively; edit work for English structure usage.
  • Technical skills: Ability to work with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software applications.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to identify and resolve problems promptly; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions; work well in group problem-solving situations; use reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
  • Visionary Leadership: Ability to display passion and optimism; inspire respect and trust; mobilize others to fulfill the vision; provide vision and inspiration to peers and subordinates.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop strategies to achieve organizational goals; understand organization's strengths & weaknesses; adapt strategy to changing conditions.

  • Retain and comprehend information to receive and follow instructions, read, interpret, compare, and analyze data; research information to resolve problems; identify issues requiring further attention, corrections, and/or make recommendations, then take preventive actions; process facts and apply judgments; communicate with others to provide or obtain information.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities, deadlines, demands, and assignments while maintaining cohesive and harmonious working relationships. Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with others related to learning, problem-solving, backup support, and fostering team support. Perform repetitive keystrokes to compile and prepare documents, reports, and correspondence.
