Job Summary
Provide professional and courteous service to all customers inside, outside, and on the phone while assuring merchandise is placed on the sales floor in a timely manner. Ring items accurately, demonstrate precise cash handling skills including making change and operating the cash register, and maintain neat, orderly floor merchandise and a clean register area. Keep the store clean through general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting, while performing other tasks as assigned by management. Maintain a clean professional appearance and stand for prolonged periods up to seven hours per shift.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and GGW associates
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to all of our customers
- Ability to settle customer complaints
- Ability to perform basic math skills
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 7 hours per 8-hour shift)
- Ability to bend and lift up to 40 pounds frequently
- Basic working knowledge of computer applications and the internet
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of six months of previous work experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a retail environment
- Excellent customer service related skills
- Working knowledge of a cash register
- Multilingual with complete fluency in English
