Act as the point of contact for customers; assist in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs; stock merchandise; unload trucks; build and rotate displays; assist customers by locating merchandise; operate cash register and hand-held scanner to itemize and total purchases; collect payment and make change; assist with ordering merchandise using scanners; maintain store cleanliness and frontline displays; ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; participate in creating a positive shopping experience and teamwork within a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Understanding of safety policies and practices
- Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance
- Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to perform IBM cash register functions
