Act as the point of contact for customers, assist in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs, stock merchandise, and perform duties to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, receiving and unpacking cartons, building merchandise displays, stocking and rotating merchandise, assisting customers in locating products, operating the cash register, handling payments and bagging, assisting with merchandise ordering via handheld scanners, keeping the front end clean, and helping set up sidewalk displays. Requires effective interpersonal and oral communication skills, basic cash handling and math, the ability to read plan-o-gram guidance, and adherence to safety policies. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical duties include frequent walking/standing, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds (occasional up to 55 pounds), and occasional climbing. Relocation assistance is not available.
