Act as the point of contact for customers. Unload trucks. Stock merchandise and rotate/face on shelves. Build merchandise displays and assist customers by locating items. Operate cash register and flatbed scanner to itemize and total purchases; collect payment and make change. Help with receiving, opening, and unpacking cartons; store merchandise in stock room or on sales floor. Follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance; restock recovered merchandise. Bail cardboard, take out trash, dust and mop store floors, clean restroom and stockroom. Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners. Greet customers and help set up sidewalk displays when necessary. Maintain safety practices and comply with company policies and procedures. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
