Job Summary
Act as the point of contact for customers, assist in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs, stock merchandise and rotate displays, unload trucks, operate the cash register, collect payment, assist with merchandise ordering via handheld scanners, and help create clean, organized sales-floor environments. Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with locating merchandise, stocking and restocking items, cleaning front-end and stockroom areas, and following company policies to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Requires effective communication, safety awareness, ability to follow merchandising guidance, basic cash handling, and physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds (occasional 55 pounds). Relocation assistance is not available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
- Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.
