Job Summary
Sales Associate duties include greeting and assisting customers, operating cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, processing payments and making change, stocking and rotating merchandise, building displays, organizing the sales floor, maintaining store cleanliness, and helping with setup of sidewalk displays. Must follow company merchandise processes, perform basic cash handling, read planograms, and deliver excellent customer service to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction. Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills, plus ability to perform basic math and handle merchandise and equipment safely, are essential.
