Act as the point of contact for customers. Assist in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs. Stock merchandise adequately. Perform other duties as necessary to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork, while protecting company assets. Duties include unloading trucks, receiving/opening/unpacking cartons, building merchandise displays, stocking and rotating merchandise, assisting customers, bagging purchases, handling cash at the register, assisting with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners, cleaning front end and setting up sidewalk displays when necessary, and adhering to company policies and procedures. Greet customers, operate the cash register, collect payment, and provide basic cashiering functions; respond to customer needs and help maintain a clean, organized store environment.
