Job Summary
Unload incoming trucks, put away merchandise, and maintain assigned departments by keeping them clean, organized, and fully stocked. Execute daily operational goals with a "Speed is Life" attitude, moving with urgency while paying close attention to details. Serve customers in assigned departments or storewide by greeting them immediately, answering questions, assisting with large items, and promoting the Ace Rewards program. Actively participate in daily huddle meetings, share improvement ideas, and respond to Customer Coordinator inquiries. Monitor main aisles to ensure all customers receive assistance, watch for shoplifters, and handle special orders for non-stock items following manager approval. Demonstrate the S.A.L.E.S. process, use the Five Foot Rule to acknowledge customers within five feet, and wear your radio and headset for effective communication. Assist in training peers and address simple complaints before escalating to management as needed.
Required Qualifications
- A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance
- Availability must be flexible including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time, walk, reach, and bend to perform job duties
- Move and handle merchandise up to 40 pounds
- Able to communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Skilled at providing prompt, friendly and attentive customer service
- Strong organizational skills with a passion for details
- Willing to learn all areas of the store and help train others
- Proven track record of being a team player

Desired Qualifications
