Job Summary
Assist the Store Leadership Team by engaging customers, processing point-of-sale transactions, and maintaining appropriate stock levels while ensuring all merchandise displays meet Company standards. Perform daily housekeeping duties including sweeping, vacuuming, and emptying trash, while safely lifting heavy packages and climbing ladders to restock inventory. Exercise sound judgment when addressing customer concerns and adhere to all Loss Prevention procedures to guarantee Company assets. Work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays, utilizing the retail POS system and inventory scanner to build sales and minimize returns.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift large and heavy packages and boxes rapidly and constantly
- Ability to reach overhead, bend, kneel, and carry product
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Must have ability to safely lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to use and climb ladders and/or step stool
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Ability to use caution when dealing with difficult customers, houseless and/or transients
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers
- Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and Holidays
- Ability to utilize retail POS System & Inventory Scanner
- Must be able to make change using American Monetary units
- Must be receptive to both positive and constructive feedback from the Store Leadership Team
