Job Summary
Conduct sales transactions and guide customers on hunting and archery gear while hitting personal sales goals. Master the shop floor by attending product trainings and maintaining inventory to ensure the store is stocked. Explain Scheels Visa Rewards benefits and promotions to boost customer loyalty. Work evening shifts from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, including bi-weekly training sessions, with weekends scheduled every other Saturday and Sunday. Earn an average of $20.00 per hour including commission. Act as an active hunter familiar with modern tech and industry trends to provide expert advice.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Basic math skills
- Communication skills
- Comfortable standing, walking, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 100 lbs
- Active, year-round archery and/or big game hunter
- Minimum of every other weekend availability (Saturdays between 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM; Sundays 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
- 2-3 evening shifts availability from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Availability for product knowledge team trainings every other week on a Tuesday or Wednesday from 5:15 PM - 6:45 PM
- Ability to arrive 10 minutes early
