Job Summary
Greet customers, engage in product conversations, and drive sales while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Maximize product inventory by processing freight, stocking merchandise, building displays, and fulfilling orders for in-store and curbside pickup. Deliver orders safely when assigned, adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Maintain knowledge of promotions, loyalty programs, and alcohol sales regulations. Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, lifting 50 lbs overhead and standing for 8-10 hours daily. This role supports Total Wine & More's expansion across the country as America's largest independent retailer of wine, spirits, and beer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 21 years of age or older
- Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day
- Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets
- Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead and repeatedly
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to drive and make deliveries if assigned
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years of work experience
- 1+ years of experience in a retail setting
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
