Job Summary
Greet, assist, and direct customers and donors while handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions. Proactively acknowledge shoppers in any store area, answer questions, and restock merchandise to maintain a clean environment. Perform floor maintenance, balance point-of-sale transactions, and report safety hazards. Support team members and supervisors as needed, while communicating effectively through audio systems. This role requires lifting up to 30 pounds and standing for long periods in a retail setting.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to learn new technology and software as related to the job
- High school graduate or equivalency
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Developed fine motor control (grasp, handle, manipulate objects with fingers)
- Standing for long periods
- Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting
