Job Summary
Match the right pet with the right customer and provide top-notch customer service. Educate clients on every pet's basic needs and the value of Petland's 5-Step Sale and 4 Basic Needs programs. Maintain excellent animal husbandry by performing opening, daily, and closing procedures while ensuring a clean, organized, and safe store environment. Assist Animal Care Technicians with additional animal care tasks and support community service projects as needed. Perform other related duties assigned by management. This role requires standing and walking continually, with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Full-time and part-time positions offer a 401(k), health insurance, and employee discount.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
