Job Summary
Greet and assist customers promptly, provide product knowledge, and drive sales. Handle cash register transactions, inform customers about store events and promotions, and resolve customer concerns by offering solutions and exchanges when appropriate. Communicate needs to management about stock, service requirements, and customer feedback. Collaborate with team to achieve store objectives and maintain organized merchandise, a well-stocked floor, and smooth checkout experiences. Must be 16 years or older, flexible in schedule, and comfortable with technology used in retail environments. Responsibilities include assisting multiple customers, suggestive selling, stock replenishment, and potentially working evenings, weekends, and variable shifts. The role emphasizes customer service, sales execution, and teamwork at Five Below.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices)
- Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
- Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally
- Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
