Job Summary
Five Below Sales Associate role focusing on delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, sharing product knowledge, directing customers to merchandise, suggesting additional items, informing customers about promotions and events, resolving concerns by offering solutions, communicating needs to management about restocking and service requirements, and collaborating with the team to meet store objectives. Must be at least 16 years old, able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends (and potentially overnight shifts), comfortable with basic technology used at the register and on mobile devices, and physically able to move merchandise up to 25 lbs and climb ladders as needed. The role emphasizes strong communication with customers and staff, adherence to store policies, and a positive, energetic approach consistent with Five Below’s culture.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices)
- Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
- Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally
- Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
