Job Summary
As a Part-Time Sales Associate at Five Below in State College, PA, you will be at the heart of the action, delivering outstanding customer service while driving sales. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, assessing needs with product knowledge, making recommendations, engaging in suggestive selling, promoting store events and promotions, resolving customer concerns by offering solutions, and communicating needs to management. You will support team goals, keep merchandise organized and stocked, and perform frequent cash-register transactions. The role requires the ability to handle multiple customers, lift up to 25 lbs, climb ladders to stock or retrieve items, and maintain flexibility to work day, evening, weekends, and potentially overnight shifts. A positive, energetic attitude and strong communication skills are essential, along with on-the-job learning and adaptability to store procedures. Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices)

- Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
