Job Summary
The Sales Associate at Five Below is responsible for greeting and assisting customers promptly, understanding and meeting customer needs, engaging in suggestive selling, and promoting store events. Key responsibilities include resolving customer concerns, communicating needs to management, and collaborating with the team to achieve store objectives. Candidates should be at least 16 years old, have flexible availability, and be comfortable using technology. This role requires good communication skills and the ability to handle customer interactions professionally.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices)
- Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
- Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally
- Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training
