Job Summary
Part-time Sales Associate at Five Below focused on delivering outstanding customer service while driving sales. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, sharing product knowledge, directing customers to merchandise, engaging in suggestive selling, promoting store events and promotions, resolving customer concerns, communicating needs to management, and collaborating with the team to achieve store objectives. Must be able to operate a cash register, stock merchandise, and work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and potentially overnight shifts. Prior experience with technology and strong communication skills are valued; training is provided to learn procedures and store policies.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (cash registers, handheld/mobile devices)
- Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
- Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues courteously and professionally
- Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training
